Quick Tips to Improve Your Credit Quick
Do you know what your credit score is? Most people don’t. If you have bad credit, it doesn’t have to remain that way. Even if your credit is at the bottom, it can be raised.
Don’t be foold. Credit agencies aren’t perfect. I think just about all files, including yours, have errors on them. Start here:
1. You can stop collection agencies, remove bad credit items and more. This guy who had 60 negative items shows you how. Click that link.
2. Get a free copy of your credit report with all 3 major agencies. Think it’s all the same? Think again. Be prepared to see a lot of errors. At least now you know.
3. Hopefully, you’ll see all your good accounts listed. If not, that could be killing your credit score. Contact the company and the reporting agency to get it listed.
4. Don’t rush out to pay off accounts. You could harm your credit identity for a long time. Don’t be in a rush. You need to do things right or you’ll be in trouble.
5. Next, you’ll be disputing the validity of bad items. There’s a certain way you need to contact the credit agencies. See that guy’s site for more.
6. Utilization kills you. If your credit available from all credit cards is say $10,000 and your using $8,000 in credit currently, you’re 80% utilized . This is a bad spot to be in. Ideally, you want to keep your utilization under 30%. It’s possibly that you’re losing 100 points from this one issue alone. It’s that important.
7. Don’t apply for everything under the sun. When your credit gets pulled, it can hurt your score. The exception is credit reports. Those are ok.
